Community Engagement Day: IMPACT Brings Free Camp and Art Activities to Lahore for All

Following an inspiring first day at Lahore for All, held at the Nawaz Sharif Centre of Excellence, Day 2 shifted focus to something equally special: Community Engagement Day. This was a day designed to open doors — bringing together institutes working on inclusion, the families they serve, and the wider public for a festival of learning, connection, and celebration.

A Free Camp, A Warm Response

IMPACT set up a free camp for the day, offering the community direct access to information, guidance, and support around developmental and learning differences. The response from the public was heartening — families came in with questions, curiosity, and openness, and left with greater awareness and a sense of the support available to them. It was a reminder that awareness and access, offered freely and warmly, can make all the difference for a family just beginning their journey.

Celebrating Our Children Through Art

Alongside the camp, IMPACT also hosted a lively art activities stall, showcasing the creativity and talent of our own children. Visitors got to see firsthand the wonderful work our students create, and many stopped to engage directly with the activities — a joyful, colourful corner amid the day's many conversations.

A Festival of Inclusion

What made the day truly special was the spirit of the event itself. Institutes working across the inclusion space came together, and so did the parents and families connected to them — turning the day into a genuine festival rather than just a conference. People moved between stalls, shared experiences, asked questions, and left with more knowledge than they arrived with. It was community building in its truest sense.

Looking Back, Moving Forward

Between Day 1's recognition with the Therapy and Early Intervention Excellence Award and Day 2's warm community engagement, Lahore for All proved to be more than an event — it was a reaffirmation of why this work matters. IMPACT is proud to have been part of a gathering that brought inclusion, awareness, and hope closer to the families who need it most.
