On 15th August, IMPACT Special Education Centre proudly participated in Lahore for All, a landmark event held at the Nawaz Sharif Centre of Excellence. The first day of the conference brought together leading institutes from across the special needs sector, each sharing their unique journeys, struggles, and triumphs in serving children with developmental and learning differences.

It was a day filled with reflection, connection, and inspiration — a rare gathering where educators, therapists, and institution heads came together not just to showcase their work, but to genuinely learn from one another's experiences.

Amid these powerful stories, IMPACT received recognition that holds deep significance for our entire team: the Therapy and Early Intervention Excellence Award.

For an institute that has been serving children and families for 31 years, this award is more than a certificate — it is an acknowledgment of three decades of dedication, of countless small victories in therapy rooms, and of the unwavering commitment of every therapist, teacher, and staff member who has walked this journey with us. It stands as a tribute to the families who trusted us with their children, and to the children themselves, whose resilience continues to inspire everything we do.

As part of the conference, Ms. Maliha Latif Asad, Director of IMPACT, led a breakout session titled "From Despair to Hope." The session explored the emotional journey that so many families walk when they first learn their child has a developmental or learning difference — the fear, the confusion, the grief — and how, with the right support, guidance, and early intervention, that despair can gradually transform into hope, progress, and possibility.

Drawing on over three decades of clinical experience, Ms. Maliha shared insights, real stories, and practical perspectives that resonated deeply with the audience of fellow professionals and institutions working in this space.

Days like this remind us why this work matters. Being part of Lahore for All, standing alongside other institutes doing this vital work, and being honoured with this award reaffirms IMPACT's commitment to raising the standard of therapy and early intervention services in Lahore and beyond. Here's to the next chapter — with the same passion that has driven us for 31 years, and even greater hope for the children and families yet to come.
