A Sky Full of Inclusion: Celebrating Basant at IMPACT FOR KIDS

At Impact for Kids, we believe that every season brings a new opportunity for our children to explore the world beyond the classroom. This week, our center transformed into a canvas of yellow and gold as we celebrated the vibrant festival of Basant with our incredible students.

A Symphony of Yellow: Art, Music, and Kites

The celebration wasn't just in the sky; it was in every corner of our center. Our Music Class came alive with the rhythmic beats of spring, encouraging our students to express themselves through sound and movement.

In our Art Activity sessions, the children dove into the spirit of the festival by crafting their own kites. From choosing the brightest papers to the final touches of glitter, it was a beautiful display of creativity and fine motor skill development. To add even more color to the day, we had a Face Painting station where our students’ faces were transformed into canvases of joy—matching the vibrant yellow and gold of their traditional Basant outfits.

The atmosphere was electric, and seeing the pure happiness on every child’s face reminded us that joy is the best form of therapy.
